David Archuleta lost American Idol. I couldn't beleive it. By 12 million votes!!!! I think that the viewers were very mad at Simon Cowell for being so mean to David Cook on Tuesday night that they all voted for him. My mom even voted for David Archuleta!!!
But that's ok....I'm sure they will both do well in their careers. But I am a little sad for David Archuleta. Hunter even cried...I'm not sure why, but he did.
But I didn't cheer I didn't yell....I was just "ok....david cook won. ok kids time for bed" that was it.
But I didn't watch the whole show. Paul and I were fighting for TV time. Cause you know...It was Game One of the Lakers vs. Spurs Western Conference Finals. And in case you were wondering the Lakers won. It was a horrible first 3 quarters with the Lakers down by 20, but they came back and won by 3? I don't know, I can't remember. But at least now Paul is in a good mood cause his Lakers' won.
But as for me......I will peacefully watch the American Idol Finale tonight on my TiVo once Paul is asleep and now one is bothering me! Have I ever mentioned I love TiVo. That is a whole other post in itself!!!
And on another side note. Netflix is coming out with a 'box' that you hook up to your TV and high speed internet and you rent movies from it. No more mailing. They have a very limited selection to the Download now to your computer section and it's not real popular cause who wants to watch a movie on your computer. But here pretty soon you will get to watch them on your TV by downloading it to your "box" and no more mailing!!! And the "box" will be about $100 one time purchase and then it will continue to be your regular monthly Netflix fee. Anyways. Paul and I thought that was cool!

My DVR is in my top five favorite things. It might be number one. I would probably give up my cell phone before I gave up my DVR! That's sayin' somethin'!
I'm pleased with the outcome of AI. I was hoping for Michael Johns or Brooke, so I lost hope some time ago.
I am so excited about the Netflix invention! I always ask Bobby, "Why can't someone offer something like hotels where you just choose a movie and watch it?" Yeah!
I'm with you on the DVR! It is a mother's sanity saver. How and when else are we supposed to have any kind of down time ever if all the great shows are on while the kids are up. Who wants to share tv time with the kiddos. I share everything else, my lunch, my snack, my bed (sometimes), my bathroom time....I could go on and on. DVR is the way to go!!!
Okay-so how are you always up on technology? I'm so behind...
